Tuesday: It pays to live in Ogden!

Dear readers in  2 short days I will be going on my VERY FIRST vacation…EVER! I am so excited I may burst but I am also already excited to get back home and get started on some super fun stuff we have in the works.

Speaking of fun stuff- We are always on the lookout for more writers and now more than ever we need your help! There is so much to write about here in Ogden and we want you to be a part of this site! Email indieogden@gmail.com for more info!

So now that you are tingling with excitement why don’t you get out there and explore O-town? There is so much to do in this amazing town Go play in the snow, go hiking, check out some amazing food, visit a local bar, play skee ball for a nickel, ice skate with a sweetie, visit a museum or just explore downtown.  It really does pay to live in Ogden, so live it up!

Christmas Village -Ogden City’s Christmas Village illuminates downtown Ogden with its magnificent festive lights every year from the Saturday after Thanksgiving through the first weekend in January.Bundle up and come stroll through the village and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. Beginning Nov 26, Santa will greet children in his castle Mon – Fri, 6 to 9pm, and Saturdays, 5 to 9pm through Dec 23. Pictures with Santa are just $5. Schedule pre-school group tours of Christmas Village with Mrs Santa 801-629-8720.Enjoy live entertainment in the Amphitheater Mon – Sat, 6 to 8pm; call 801-645-3772 if you would like to perform. All players must be aware of their environment and be responsible for keeping themselves safe from stray pucks and wreckless behavior. Sacred Earth for Kids – Victoria Dortzbach teaches children about the sacredness of the Earth through fun lessons and activities.
