St.Patricks day- Real Salt Lake, Parties and hangover cures!

yesterday the Ogden rad mamas and I went out the sparkly new park on the Ogden parkway, north of the river between Lincoln and Grant. It is pretty awesome with a rock climbing wall, some weird spidery-bouncy-climby thingy and  lots of things to get motion sickness on. Being next to the river means summer fishing, finding cool rocks and fighting gnats. This new park is pretty rad but we all agreed there is one things missing RESTROOMS! For those with kids you know, as soon as you get anywhere  your kid has to pee. We all wanted to stay longer but the kids were all squirming (ok I was the one who had to pee the most) and there wasn’t a restroom to take them to.  Good job on the park Ogden, but let’s get some potty’s please.

Another exciting thing happened yesterday, my husband won a Real Salt Lake scarf! We used the power of teamwork to get him to the secret spot where scarves were waiting. He was the first one there and got a super awesome scarf. the first game is tomorrow folks so be sure to check it out!

And now it is St. Patrick’s day! Do you have your St.Patrick’s day plans in order? Check out our awesome guide of all the cool events and fun in Ogden for St.Patty’s day HERE.

Personally i am very excited for this day. I am not usually a big St.Patty’s day party person, my plans usually involve a huge plate of potatoes and a pint (or 4) of beer. This year however  I am venturing out into the world  and going to a get together with friends where i will probably talk to strangers…in person…like…face to face!  For those that know mei, you know that this is quite a big deal. Bring it on strangers, I have baileys and a green dress!

Today there is no shortage of awesome happening So don’t you stay inside tonight! You never know what can happen unless you try- get out there and meet new friends, go on an adventure, try something new!  You only live once so you might as well have a blast!

And for those that party juuuuust a bit too hard, HERE IS A LINK to some great hangover cures!
