Newcomer’s Guide to Ogden

New Ogden Transplants might have a hard time adjusting to our amazing city, so here at Indie Ogden we thought we might make it just a little easier for them. Here are some links to help you adjust to this new city (which is awesome).

Tips:

There are three major roads through town that run north/south. Harrison is east and closest to the mountains; if you go to Weber State you’ll become very familiar with Harrison. Washington cuts through the middle of town and that’s where you’ll find most of the older architecture and a lot of the City Offices. Wall is the farthest west, and it’s mostly the industrial area. The roads that run east/west usually have a number instead of a name (not always, of course!) The higher numbers are farther south and they get smaller as you head north. Once you get used to it, things actually become easier to find!

Ogden Farmers Market runs from late July to late September. It’s located behind the Municipal Building (City Hall) and up and down Historic 25th Street.

There are several festivals and events going on year-round in the area. Keep up-to-date with what’s happening by following us on Twitter, Facebook, & Pinterest. (@indieogdenutah)
