Thursday: 26 is Awesome!

26 birthday cah

Yesterday was my 26th birthday! I didn’t do anything super significant, seeing as it was a Wednesday and all, but will be doing the 2nd Annual Clinelympic Games on Saturday. annual contest of athletic skill and mental fortitude. The events consist of racing at FastKart, laser tag/bowling/arcade games at Boondocks, with the closing ceremonies held at Squatter’s in SLC. Last year was a blast, and it’s looking to be pretty awesome again this year.

As for local events today, you’ve got plenty to choose from. Lots of action going on at the Eccles Community Art Center tonight, as well as karaoke at Wing Nutz and Club 366 tonight. It’s also the last day to catch Save the Date with Lizzy Caplan and Alison Brie over at the Art House Cinema.

  1. John – Thank you so much for this Thursday, January 10th article on what’s going on:) I just discovered Indie Ogden and G E E Z E! You guys are awesome to do this! THANK YOU TO YOU ALL, from a 47 years young empty-nester who loves to go out w/ the hub, but never knows what in the hell is happening in Ogden, Utah! I grew up in Davis County. I always heard that Ogden had nothing. No fun. Thanks to Indie Ogden – I can now be in-the-know and into social aspects of my beautiful City of Ogden!

Happy 26th, John! ABSORB. Seriously. I mean – honestly, it feels like I had MY 26th birthday (I remember it clear as a bell) a week ago last Tuesday for crying out loud!! Time is bizarre, and getting more and more so. This is why I say “ABSORB.” Good luck this weekend!

    Happiness -
    Rachael
