I am still buzzing from all of the positive energy I absorbed at the Union Station On Thursday. What a day, what a past 3 years! I can not thank you all enough for coming out to support Ogden, our local businesses and each other.  Thursday night was a perfect display of what we can accomplish when we work together and when we never stop believing in the potential of this town.

People are looking our way and  no longer are they pointing out the faults of this town, people are looking at Ogden and saying ‘wow, Ogden is amazing’. It is because of all of you, all of your projects, all of your businesses and all of your community support that Ogden is rising. Each and every one of you should be proud, I am proud of all of you. I can not wait to see what the future holds and to watch as Ogden grows.

With that I would like to thank the many people who contributed to make the awards possible.

First off I would like to thank the volunteers who spent hours upon hours at the Union Station working so hard to make it beautiful, even staying late to clean it all up. Bryan Platter, Sarah Rushforth, Cindy Jones, Alison McLennan, Maegan Lovelady, Harmony Stevens, Melissa Zuckerman, Laura Feeny, Ek Shaffer, Adam Smith, Rusty Sessions, Scott Smith and the amazing Union Station and Union Grill staff. Thank you all for your help not only setting up and taking down but your emotional support and encouragement as well.

To our two incredible hosts Amir Jackson And Richie Steadman, you guys were not only funny and charming but you made the night shine and made everyone feel special. You are two  people that we all look up to and it was such an honor to have you there on stage. Thank you!

To our food vendors who donated all of their amazing food- that’s hours of cooking and prep and then serving all for free, just so you can have delicious local food. Desert Magnolia BBQ ( who signed up before last years even was even over!), Union Grill,  Slackwater Pub & Pizzeria, Lucky Slice Pizza, Tona Sushi,  Sweet Spot Bakery, Grounds for Coffee Harrison and Grounds for coffee 25th, Jenny Wilcox ( find her goods at GFC  25th!), Rolling Mountain Bistro Food Truck, Laziz Mediterranean Spreads,  Mason Jar Coffee Roasters and Sweet Pop’n Cafe.  You all kept the guests full,  the spreads looked amazing and it was so special to see the wide variety that Ogden has to offer.

To our silent auction sponsors, thank you for donating and supporting our fundraiser. Amer sports outlet, Front Climbing Club, Summit Hotel, Breathe Peace Massage, Ogden Guitar lessons, Mehndi Dancer Henna, Our Children’s Earth, Eye4Ink, Green the World, Queen Bee, All about socks, Price is right carpet cleaning, 2nd track sports, Bravura Boutique, Simply Eden, Ogden Made , Wasatch Music Together and Eden’s Playground.

You gals are incredible and you made many of us gasp when you did your dangerous drops,  It was really fun to watch.
