5 Things To Do At First Friday Art Stroll (3/4/16)


First Art Stroll is here again!  Ogden’s monthly art stroll is getting better each month  so don’t miss out! Not sure what Art Stroll is?

Not sure what Art Stroll is? It’s simple! Local shops, venues and art galleries open their doors at night so you can pop in to check out local art. Many places offer up bites to eat and wine for you to enjoy during your stroll. There is also music, pop-up events and  more!

Still not sure where to start at art stroll? Try checking off these 5 things & make it an adventure!

1-Check out the Van Sessions with Banyan Collective

Check out local musicians during a live recording and broadcast at a mini studio inside of a van.

2-Wish And She’s Dope Too a happy 1st birthday!

And She’s Dope Too ( ASDT) is turning 1 and throwing a first Friday open house & party. Mason Jar Coffee roasters will be there as well as their featured artist Rachel Pohl.

3- Ride the Weber State Art Bus

Weber State has teamed up with Ogden City Arts to provide a FREE shuttle from downtown to WSU to view the galleries on campus. I hear the bus is a ton of fun!  The WSU galleries open for Art Stroll from 5-9pm.

4- Check out the First Friday Song Share

‘We gather 3 of Utah’s best songwriters the first Friday of every month together to share the stage, their stories, and songs in a not so traditional, writers in the round fashion.’. This month’s featured artists are  Joslin Davis (Triggers & Slips) Michelle Gomez (Michelle Moonshine Trio) & Jon Turner (The Highway Thieves). No Cover!

5-Take a FREE art class at Imagine Jefferson

Follow the signs from downtown to Imagine Jefferson where you can participate in a FREE art class from 4-5pm. After your class, you can pop into Thai Curry Kitchen for dinner and then stroll the Historic Jefferson district to look at the Victorian houses.

Mikaela is a transplant from Portland, fell in love with Ogden her first day in town and created Indie Ogden the next week. She enjoys outdoor adventures with her 2 kiddos and making a mess crafting. You can find her at a local cafe or cycling around town with her family.
