50 Ways To Be Kind On World Kindness Day

kindness_is_magicThere is a lot of yucky things happening in the world right now and I think it is about time we start to spread a little kindness. Today is World Kindness Day and I have put together 50 ways you can be kind today. Whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours, there is always time for kindness.

  1. Volunteer with Catholic Community Services Food Pantry
  2. Donate new items for the teens at Youth Futures
  3. Treat yourself to a spa day, because you need to be kind to yourself as well.
  4. Buy  coffee for the next person in line
  5. Donate food to the Catholic Community Services food bank
  6. Donate A turkey or ham to United way
  7. Buy a gift card to a local restaurant and leave it on a friend or neighbor’s doorstep
  8. Hold open the door for someone
  9. Volunteer your time to a local non-profit
  10. Leave a nice note on a stranger’s car
  11. Babysit for a friend for free so they can go out
  12. Leave an extra big tip for a waitress or barista
  13. Sponsor an adoption fee at the animal shelter
  14. Donate toys to the animals at the shelter
  15. Leave something really cool in a geocache
  16. Donate blood with the Red Cross
