Wasatch Eats Halloween Party, 4:30pm-7:30pm

The View on 20th Complex will be hosting this years Wasatch Street Eats Halloween Party and their own Grand Opening, with Food, Live Music, Pumpkin Walk & Other family fun activities.

Live Podcast with Bill Allred, 4pm

He’s an Ogden native, Ben Lomond High School graduate and a Weber State College alumni…Bill Allred is coming home! You may know Bill from Utah’s longest running radio program, X96’s Radio From Hell show or from his popular podcast, The Let’s Go Eat Show. Bill is also the moderator of the new live show, What do you think, Utah?
Ogden’s GOAL Foundation is hosting a night with Ralph William Allred and The Banyan Collective’s next episode of Mr. Goodyear’s Neighborhood – a podcast about a mountain town, run by mountain people. We’ll be recording live, and you’re all invited, as we dive deep into the mind of Ogden’s most renowned ambassador:

Get ready for Halloween with the Mustangs! On Friday we’ll be giving away free Mustangs bags for the first 100 kids in costume. We’ll also be having a costume contest for those of all ages, with some great prizes to be awarded for the best ones.

Rocky Horror Picture Show, 8-10pm

Peery’s Egyptian Theater presents “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. Come celebrate with us the 40th Anniversary of this cult classic. Dance, sing, and toast to fling. Prop bags are included for the full Rocky experience. There will be pre-show entertainment and costumes are encouraged.

Seating is Reserved this year, so plan ahead and buy your tickets early. Last year we sold out!

It’s the weird and wonderful as newly engaged couple Brad and Janet encounter a problem when they car halts in the rain. They both look for contact only to find themselves at the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter a transvestite. A place to stay is offered, but will Brad and Janet want to remain there? Especially when a large group of Transylvanians dance to the ‘Time Warp’, Dr. Frank-N-Furter builds his own man and a whole host of participation for the audience to enjoy.

Hike 5 miles round trip on the Skull Crack trail at Causey Dam. Holy Water Buffalo at Barrel House, 9pm

Longtime friends hailing from Heber City, Utah: Thomas Brunson, Jeff Vanderlinden, Zaz McDonald and Steven Siggard formed Holy Water Buffalo in 2009. Their combination of jangly guitar, vocal harmony, deep bass, melodic organ and dynamic drumming create contemporary original music with a 60’s/70’s throwback back sound. Enjoy good music, great beer, and awesome people, only at The Barrelhouse. Tickets are $5 at the door.

 

Mikaela is a transplant from Portland, fell in love with Ogden her first day in town and created Indie Ogden the next week. She enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband, 2 kiddos and fur baby and making a mess crafting. You can find her at a local cafe or cycling around town with her family.
