Indie Ogden Adventure with Avis Car Sales

A few weeks ago Young Automotive asked us if we’d like to go on one more adventure, this time with Avis Car Sales. Right before we were scheduled to pick up a test car, our truck engine blew. Suddenly we were actually in need of a car and lucky for us, we were in the good hands.

If you don’t know about Avis Car Sales, here’s the scoop: Avis is a part of Young Automotive,  a collection of 9 automotive dealerships (the first of which was founded in 1924) in its 5th generation as a local family owned business. Young Automotive group also founded the Rocky Mountain Raceways and was recently named one of the best places to work by Utah Business Magazine.  Young also gives back to our community by donating tens of thousands of dollars a year to Ogden Schools and hosting an annual pet adoption.  Avis Car Sales offers car rentals as well as used car sales and I should also add, some of the friendliest customer service this side of the Mississippi.

When we went to pick up a vehicle on the Avis car lot, I wasn’t sure what kind of car we would get. I scanned the lot eyeing up big trucks and sporty little cars, neither of which called out to me. When an Armada pulled up in front of the building I nudged my husband and said  ‘That’s the kind of car I want’ and right then the Avis car rep walked over and handed us the keys.  This was going to be an awesome week.

Once we pulled off the lot we started planning our adventures for the weekend. The weather was incredible and we didn’t want to miss the chance to play in the snow. By the time we got home I had a whole itinerary planned for Saturday, not a single moment would go to waste. And then Friday came around…and I got food poisoning.  To say I was disappointed that I didn’t get to go on all the fun snow adventures would be an understatement, but as I waved my husband goodbye from inside my snuggie I knew he would have a ton of fun and also he promised to bring me home chocolate.

Bryan’s ski trips to Brighton and Snowbasin were both an epic success and Betty ( as we’ve named her) drove like a dream. Usually, on such trips we travel in 3 cars and all meet up in the parking lot but Betty has 2 rows of seats, ample room for all the adventurers. With spots for Ipad movie viewing and customized air & sound control, the passengers had no complaints. They skied, they grilled, they were merry and they were home in time for dinner.

This car is the perfect vehicle for Ogden families, tons of room for kids and gear, 4 wheel drive and just a touch of luxury. She can navigate the snow and the dirt and she looks pretty doing it. I was sad to bring her back, it’s been a great week feeling pampered in a car that understood me. We bonded and now it was time to say goodbye.  Lucky for you though, Betty is for sale and you too can go on epic adventures in style.

Without a doubt, it was a great week with Avis Car Sales and I really look forward to coming back when we are ready to purchase a new vehicle. When you shop at Avis & Young Automotive group you know you will be taken care of. Young offers great financing options, deals for students, paint protection, 2 year maintenance, price match guarantee and even has their own collision center. Buying a car can be stressful but at Avis Car Sales you can guarantee it will be a great experience.
