Indie Ogden Review: Cafe Ville Bella

SpringOgden is home to so many cute little cafes and restaurants and sometimes in my search for the hidden ones I miss one right in front of me.  Cafe Ville Bella is right down the street from me, but somehow I managed to miss it every time.   With the launch of their new drive-thru, I decided it was about time to explore this local joint.

Cafe Ville Bella has a full breakfast and lunch menu to choose from and on our visit, we wanted to try it all. Sadly our breakfast ham and gouda breakfast croissant was gobbled up before I could snap a photo, you’ll just have to trust me when I tell you that it was incredible. Luckily I had a little chat with my girl children about how mommy needs to take 1000 photos of her food before we can actually eat it, and then I got them cupcakes and cookies, and they were on board.

Speaking of cupcakes and cookies, the desserts in this shop were divine and adorable. Each cupcake is decorated beautifully, and they even had lovely hand-frosted butterfly cookies.

After I had bribed my dear children, it was time for lunch! I told the owner to bring out his favorites and out came a parmesan crusted grilled cheese for the kiddos and one giant Cobb sandwich for me.

The girls grilled cheese was nothing short of extraordinary. Cheesy, crispy, ooey gooey goodness, everything a grilled cheese should be and more. The best part, while the kids ate there was complete silence as they savored every bite. Pure bliss.

I had never had a Cobb sandwich before this beauty, but I am definitely a fan now. Sliced turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato and blue cheese on a marbled rye bread, oh my! The Cobb is a monster of a sandwich, after half of it, I was ready to take a food nap. I can’t wait to explore the other sammies on the menu; I heard their Philly cheesesteaks are amazing too.

Along with fabulous food and sweets, they also have yummy drinks. Most people may know this café for their coffee, but hey have some really cool noncaffeinated options like pop rock soda and boba tea.

If you are in a hurry, their new drive-thru is a perfect choice. Drive up, order, done! It’s hard to miss the bright yellow drive-thru window, but just in case, handy signs are pointing you in the right direction.

Check out this cute cafe at 3679 Harrison Blvd and be sure to try out their drive-thru the next time you need coffee in a jiffy.
