When did you first start sewing?
Although we have all done some sewing, we actually design our products ourselves and have them manufactured.
What inspired you to start making aprons and mermaid tails?
We are moms. Moms of little girls. Our houses are overrun with everything princess and mermaid (as mermaids are all the rage right now!!) Our little girls wanted nothing else but a mermaid tail to sit by Grandma’s pool in. We searched and searched but the only Mermaid Tails we could find were blankets. Blankets are not water friendly and really have no business being by the pool! We wanted to find a nice thick absorbent towel for our little mermaids to dry off with. Since we could not find one, we designed them ourselves and had them made for our little girls. When friends and family started asking where we got them, we realized we were on to something. Our mermaid tails are now available for all little girls to enjoy!!
It was the same thing with our aprons, we find that our little girls are always underfoot in the kitchen. They want to be just like mom, which means wanting to wear an apron. They also like to dress up!! Our aprons can be used two fold. They are great for our little helpers to wear in the kitchen but they are even better for dress up. With six little girls between us, you can imagine the princess gear we have amassed over the years. We have princess coming out our eyeballs. We’ve found that one princess item is never enough. Our girls like to have choices and more choices, which leads to lots of costume changes. We made our aprons reversible so every one comes with two designs. The aprons are high quality, durable, and so cute!!!
