Kids’ ARTivities at Ogden Arts Festival

There will be plenty of interactive ARTivities for kids at the Ogden Arts Festival (OAF) this upcoming weekend, June 11 and 12, at the Ogden City Amphitheater and Municipal Park. Eleven local organizations and businesses will offer all the following free ARTivities to OAF attendees, see schedule below.

Ogden Nature Center Watercolor flower painting 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Color Me Mine Ceramic mustaches 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Arts in the Parks Printmaking 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Tree House Museum Making frog & fly catchers 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Artist: Mike Hurst Balloon Animal art 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Ogden’s George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park Plaster Cast Fossils 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Hand Drawn Photo Booth Get your likeness hand drawn in 3-5 minutes, photo booth style 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah Marble Bugs 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Kids and adults alike may also enjoying making a floral crown (for a $5 donation per crown to Nurture the Creative Mind) at the Blooms to Bouquets booth on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

All these ARTivities, plus the chance to contribute to the OAF community mural, see 55 artists’ booths, watch 15 artists create artwork live, listen to 10 bands, see two theater performances and four dance performances, taste culinary art from eight food vendors and so much more!
